Here we have an astounding Navajo silver bolo. This is quite an expressive dimensional Chief bolo! The detail is incredible – down to the facial expression and eyes – and to the texturing and reflective handcarvings! Set above the forehead and on every other feather of the magnificent headdress there’s a colorful diamond-shape stone of those that include sugulite, spiny oyster, mother of pearl and lapis. And actually dangling just to the sides of the Chief’s head is an additional 1-1/4” silver feather – with a turquoise at the tips! We can’t get over the intense detailing! It has a black braided tie with 2” silver tips and is about 38” in length. Sterling silver. The bolo measures around 2-5/8" x 1-5/8". Sturdy 68 grams.
